If this is your first time doing this task, you must create an account with a username on Midomi.com that ends with the letters “CC” (example).

• Example of a good Username: “johncc”.
• Click here to create your free account on Midomi.com.
• When you complete the signup form, select “Continue” and return to these instructions.

Read through all of these steps before you begin this task.

Step 1: Browse through the list of songs below, and select “Check Out” when you find a song you want to sing.

• To pick your song, first select a genre, then select an artist, then select a song title, and finally click “Check Out”.

Step 2: Find the song you just selected online, and cut and paste the URL into the field below.

• The URL should link to a web page that plays the original song, with the original artist, and lyrics.
• Example: These URLs are both acceptable answers for the song “Bad Romance” by Lady Gaga:Youtube, Lady Gaga’s Myspace Profile.

Step 3: Sing the song you selected.

• Click on the link we provide.
• Select “English” for language when prompted.
• You must sing the song for 1 Minute.
• • • Your version must include the entire chorus.
    • Sing continuously without taking breaks.
    • Sing loud enough so the lyrics can be clearly heard upon playback.
    • Sing at the same tempo as the original song.
  • Your rendition should have no background noise including:
    • Laughter, talking, the Original Song, or musical instruments playing in the background.
  • After singing your song, click submit to submit your recording (example).
  • When prompted to share with friends, click submit (example).

  Step 4: Follow this example to get the URL for your recording and copy and paste it into the field labeled Your Version of the Song.

  Special Notes:

  • You can sing a song as many times as you want, but you can only submit onerecording to CloudCrowd.
